Traditionally, Hotel Restaurant Taverne is a village inn located in Twello. Twello is located in the heart of the city triangle Deventer, Zutphen and Apeldoorn, also known as the IJssel Valley. In less than five minutes you are on the highway, but in that same time you cycle to the beautiful river landscape of the IJssel.

The characteristic building of Taverne dates from the beginning of 1880 and has gathered a rich history over the years. In 1987 the then "De Kroon" was taken over and renamed "Hotel Restaurant Taverne", by Victor and Nardy Taverne. With this family name one could hardly use any other name!
